Frequently asked questions
How do I book a yacht?
Send us an inquiry from the yacht’s page or the contact form. We confirm availability and send a tailored offer and invoice. The booking is final once the down payment is made within 7 days of the invoice date.
How is the charter fee paid?
50% of the charter fee is due when you book, and the remaining 50% at the latest 4 weeks before departure. You can pay by bank transfer or credit card.
What is included in the price?
The charter fee covers the use of the yacht, the outboard engine, linen and a towel set. Fuel is not included, and the yacht is returned with full fuel and water tanks. Any extras are paid at the base.
What costs should I plan for during the charter?
Berths in ports and marinas, fuel, oil, water, cleaning and other day-to-day needs while the yacht is in your care.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. The deposit is paid at the base when you take over the yacht, and you sign a deposit or premium insurance form. It is refunded in full when the yacht is returned without damage, loss or a late return.
When are check-in and check-out?
Charter weeks run Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is from 17:00 on Saturday, and the yacht must be back in its home port by 17:00 on Friday evening, with check-out by 08:00 on Saturday.
Do I need a sailing licence?
Yes. The skipper needs a valid licence to operate the vessel, shown at check-in. The base may also ask the crew to demonstrate their sailing ability at sea.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You may pass the booking to another suitable person. Otherwise 50% of the charter fee is retained if you cancel at least 28 days before the charter, and the full fee if you cancel later.
